This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep Thirdslot fair, secure and useful for every customer.
1. Only sites you are entitled to represent
You may audit, track and ask us to work on websites that you own, or that you are authorised to represent, for example as an agency acting for a client. You may audit a competitor's public visibility as part of the Service, but you may not ask us to change, harm or impersonate a site you don't represent.
2. Honest content
Thirdslot helps businesses become the answer by publishing useful, accurate information. You may not ask us to create or publish, and you may not use the Service to create:
- false or misleading claims about your business, products, prices or results, or false statements about a competitor;
- fake reviews, fake testimonials or content presented as independent when it is not;
- spam, doorway pages, hidden text or other techniques designed to manipulate AI models or search engines rather than inform people;
- content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others;
- illegal, defamatory, hateful or harassing content, or content promoting illegal products or activities.
3. Respect for the Service
You may not:
- run audits or create accounts in bulk or by automated means, or circumvent the limits on free audits;
- create several accounts, or use an account you control, to obtain an offer, a discount or a guarantee more than once;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, its reports or its data as a competing product;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, test our security without written permission, or interfere with the Service (overloading, malware, injection);
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- share your login with people outside your organisation, or resell access to your account without our agreement.
Agencies may use Thirdslot for their clients and share reports with them.
4. What happens if this policy is breached
We may refuse to carry out an action, remove content, withdraw an offer, or suspend or close the account concerned, depending on the seriousness of the breach and, where reasonably possible, after giving notice. Serious breaches may be reported to the competent authorities.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe Thirdslot is being used in breach of this policy, write to [email protected].
